Conjuncture of the Belarusian market comes to restaurants and cafes

Since March 2010 the formation of margins and prices in restaurants, cafes, bars, luxury price category, the highest, the first will be going with the market conditions. March 1, 2010 signed a decree № 127 "On Amending the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of May 19, 1999 № 285".

The current Ordinance provides for the exclusion of products catering trade price category suites, the highest and the first from the list of goods (works, services), prices (tariffs), allowances (discounts) which are regulated by the Council of Ministers, the republican government and other state organizations subordinate to the Government, the National Bank, the regional executive committees and Minsk City Executive Committee.

In this case, it should be noted that there continues to state regulation of prices and margins in the socially-oriented catering facilities second and third price category (dining in industrial and agricultural organizations, schools, canteens). This means that the majority of catering practice of state regulation of prices and margins to continue.

In general, the adoption decree is intended to simplify the job of catering organizations, improve the quality of products and services, culture, customer service, increase the investment attractiveness of this sphere of activity, to give impetus to the restaurant business. The decree has been prepared to stimulate the development of the restaurant business, liberalization of business activities.
