In the Republic of Belarus on January 1 is a single HS Customs Union

As the Commodity Nomenclature for Foreign Economic Affairs of the Republic of Belarus from January 1, 2010 is a single HS Customs Union. This is provided by the Council of Ministers of Belarus № 56 of January 21.

Recall that a single commodity nomenclature of foreign economic activities of the Customs Union is approved by the Interstate Council of EurAsEC Heads of State from November 27, 2009 № 18 "On a unified customs tariff regulation of the Customs Union of Belarus, Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation." Resolution of the Government of Belarus adopted in order to implement this decision.

Council of Ministers established that a decision on the classification of goods under the Uniform Customs Union HS accept the customs authorities. Republican government authorities and other state organizations subordinate to the government, charged with taking measures to implement Resolution № 56. It entered into force on January 1 this year.
