Prior to filing with the registrar for registration the documents specified in the Regulations, one of the founders (participants) of the commercial organizations (their representative) should agree with that entity its name. Name of legal entity shall be agreed in Russian and Belarusian languages. (Application form attached) If in the name of a legal entity using the name "Republic of Belarus" - founders must provide proof of such a right. For example, Presidential Decree № 372 on 14.09.1995g. allowed the National Olympic Committee and national sports federations (unions), a recognized National Olympic Committee, to use national symbols and the words: "The Republic of Belarus" and "Belarus" in their names. Are not allowed to agree as names: • official names of States (both complete and partial), except for public bodies; • names of entities that do not meet their organizational and legal form; • Name of legal entity, which use contrary to public morality; • proper names of persons, if they do not coincide with the name of the founders and the founders did not have the permission of such persons (their successors); • nicknames of famous persons; • names of entities that match the names that are registered or recognized in foreign countries; • names, consisting of some numerals, or less than three characters (numerals and (or) letters). |
